Lodging: The Clover Cliff Ranch is offering special rates for workshop participants, which will also include the Saturday evening meal. Accommodations vary so it's best to contact the ranch soon to secure lodging based on your needs. Call Clover Cliff Ranch, 620-343-0621, to secure you accommodations. You need to identify yourself as part of the photography workshop when you contact the ranch.
Transportation to and from workshop locations is your responsibility.
Cattle Roundup in the Flint Hills of Kansas
May 6 - 8 / May 13 -15, 2016

Craig McCord Photography Workshops and co-instructor Jason Soden team to host this event packed photography workshop in the heart of the beautiful Flint Hills of Kansas. This workshop will begin with an orientation and classroom session at the Clover Cliff Ranch in Elmdale, Kansas at 1:00pm on Friday of the event weekend. This orientations session will cover an introduction by the Clover Cliff Ranch owners, followed by an overview of planned photography of ranching activities and the beautiful landscape of the Flint Hills.The photography opportunities are endless. As part of our program we will be photographing actual ranching activities on this 3,000 acre working cattle ranch. We will start with a cattle drive beginning at 3:00pm on Friday. Dinner of BBQ brats and burgers will be available following this afternoon photo session.
Saturday will start with an early AM sunrise shoot, followed and a wonderful B&B Breakfast. 11:00am to 4:00pm semis will be arriving with more cattle and we will be photographing activities as cowboys receive, heard and inspect the cattle. Dinner will be served at 6:00pm followed by a bonfire for an evening of relaxation and socializing.
Sunday will offer some Flint Hills sunrise photography followed by breakfast and a photo critique session.
Dates: This event will take place either May 6 - 8 or May 13 - 15, 2016. The Ranch can only confirm the dates as the time gets closer and is dependent on winter and spring weather conditions. If you register for the event and find the announced date prevents you attending, your fee/deposit will be refunded.

Cancellation Policy: Once the firm Roundup date has been established, you will be required to commit to the event and make full payment. If unforeseen circumstance require you to cancel subsequent to this time, you will be refunded your fee minus a deposit amount. If your vacated slot can be filled by someone on a wait list, you will be refunded your full fee. Any lodging arrangements you may have made are subject to the cancellation policy of the Bed & Breakfast or other lodging provider.
